Re: Front Brake Cylinder AC Delco 18G94 Rebuild Kits - Out of Stock

I've used the Protex cylinders before, no issues.

I might have some of the cups to rebuild the cylinders with. Although I don't think I have the covers.

They're still around. I think the old suppliers just aren't shipping to the US any longer. Or something like that.

Re: Michigan Patrol Owners

Unfortunately not everyone includes their accurate location when registering on the forum. Here's one I found but I don't think it's the one you're looking for: https://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopi ... 972#p37972

Re: 62-65 drivers door

I'd have to look into shipping options. Might be easier since it's disassembled. I'm laid up recovering from foot surgery right now so it will be a little while before I can pull it out for dimensions etc. I'll let you know.

Re: L60Boerne's Santa's Sleigh

Patrols certainly can take a beating but they do require regular maintenance to do so. It's a mutual payoff.

Nice setup on the rear. It looks like it would limit the approach angle significantly though.

Re: FUEL PUMP REBUILD

There was a change in the length of the rod on the diaphragm from the early to later Patrols. I'm not sure if the kits are still available for the one you have. You can search Then and Now Automotive here, they used to rebuild the fuel pumps.

Re: 1968 L60 Starter Motor

Sorry that you're having starter issues. I know there are a few different links for starters, I'm not sure about this Amazon one.

Here is an in-depth thread on starters: https://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopi ... it=starter

Not common here. I'm pretty amazed that the hood is supporting it really.

Re: Rear Brake Shoes Position and Return Springs

There are two wheel cylinders on each front wheel and one on each rear wheel. There are also two adjusters on each front wheel and one adjuster on each rear wheel.

Here is a good thread on brake adjustment: https://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopi ... ent#p54803
