Wow, not much thread surface area or force dissipation surface to prevent the bulkhead metal from ripping. Any suggestions on reinforcing the fastener?

You could make a doubler, which would just be another piece of sheet metal either the same thickness or thicker to add around the nut. It would need to be welded to the surrounding sheet metal and the nut. Seeing as how the nut is welded into place I'm not sure of any other option.

It's actually reinforced there and bolts are welded to the bulkhead, it's not just thin metal thread depth. I've never heard or seen of any ripping the bulkhead out, I don't think it's an issue.

What are the little studs called that are used on the body to hold the original soft top? Anyone have a source for them?

I though Esteban posted something recently but I can't find it.

I’m guessing that gauge number is the pin diameter? The pin on my rear seat strap is 4 gauge.

Nissan Patrol / Toyota Landcruiser transfer case / gearbox

This is an interesting 'for sale' that came up on Gumtree (Australia)

NISSAN Patrol G60 transfer case bolted to Landcruiser 4speed. Conversion done by Kiewa Valley 4x4 in the early 90’s. Been sitting for just over 25 years. Buyer to remove from our shed. Pick up Worongary near exit 75.
