Articles about the 60 series Patrol

This might give the Patrol a little boost!!

Even though the article does have a lot of wrong info and the Patrol itself is a bit bastardized.

Some absolute spot on advice in it too -- Don't exceed 60 mph in FIFTH gear!

Marks? Or another interesting 5-speed? Or just a 5 speed sticker? ;-)

Not sure if it's a Marks. The placards look vintage, I've never seen them before let alone associated with a Marks.

That whole 5-speed thing bugged me so I looked a little closer -- on the Worldwide Vintage Auto ad site (https://www.worldwidevintageautos.com/vehicles/9001/1969-nissan-patrol#, there are some additional pictures including one where the regular shifter plate mounted is at least partially visible -- It still shows the 3-speed pattern. I suspect that it's still a three speed

Also, this Patrol can drive REALLY fast -- during their test-drive, they went 12 miles in 4 minutes! WOW! ;-)

Typical sales people. That also explains why the transmission shifter looks like the stock 3 speed shifter.

Didn't you know Patrols are speed governed? They won't turn much over 6000rpm because they run out of air. Just don't let your friends with FJ40's do it because they need a basket to collect the connecting rods.
