Re: Window Regulator
I found window frames and my glass guy is cutting me windows so all that I need are the regulators. We didn't drive it to Ohio but we did put about 1400 miles on it zig-zaging from San Francisco to Portland Oregon. Then we put it on a transporter and we flew home. Top speed cracked 60 mph according to our GPS but we cruised pretty steady at about 53-54 mph. We try to do at least one adventure a year like that. We fly somewhere and buy something interesting, stop and buy a tool kit at Sears, and then tour with it. I highly recommend doing that if you can. It makes for an interesting vacation that rental cars can't provide.

Re: Window Regulator
That does sound like the ultimate road trip, or a mystery road trip. Either way it sounds very adventurous, and fun!
