This one is actually pretty intriguing. Whoever built it took some extra care to mate the body to the chassis and make it look like it was supposed to be like that. Notice that the hood had been extended, and the grill/core support is actually moved out beyond the front fenders. I'm sure this was to accommodate the engine and trans. The tub has been extended as well. They did a pretty clean job of it. Of course, pictures can be very deceiving.

I don't like it. I do like the over all length MWB... but the fenders could have been extended to match the hood. Or an electric fan installed to keep the nose right.. I like jeeps but those flares don;t "fit". I know why they did it but it just seems like a shortcut.

Sorry RP I said I'd never disagree with ya but It needs some work. Great platform, 78.79 full size broncos are top shelf..

Don't apologize, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And I never said that I liked it, I was just impressed with the extra effort they took to build it. ;)

agreed a lot of effort was put in to lengthen it.. and the roll bar/top frame was a good idea also..

Somebody put a lot of effort in that, they did a very good job. But I agree I don't like it at all. I think what killed it for me was the grill that has been pushed forward, the sunk in grill to me is the trademark of the patrol.
