Nissan 80th anniversary ad may use my Patrol

I do not believe this, I just received a call from Gabriel the guy who acquires cars for films and he wants to use my 72 510 wagon and my husbands 280z next week I think he said for a commercial. He is going to call back with the details. I am not making this up! He asked me if I knew Leslie and I told him yes
she was going with me for a Nissan shoot on the 26th. He thought that was amusing.

It looks like the photo shoot for the wagon and z car is the 17th and they will pick up the cars on a trailer. This is not 100% yet but I should know Monday. It may hinge on getting by bumper back from the chromer who has had it for 2 months. I guess it is an AT&T commercial.

Yeah, Gabriel is good about arranging transportation. You can go to the shoot too if you you want. He's also good about canceling at the last minute. I've had a few shoots that he lined up for me that never panned out. But the one that did pan out worked out nicely, and he pays well.

Yes, he is arranging transportation also, he may not use the 280z. It has later z wheels on it that may not be period correct. He also lined up a shoot for me before with my wagon and canceled. Hey do they give you anything like photos or copies of the commercial?

No, they don't. You pretty much need to keep an eye out for the advertisement to be released and snag it yourself. Or go to the shoot and take your own pics.

If you befriend the 1st assistant photographer, he/she can make it happen.....they are the boots on the ground and do the first round of editing.
Sounds like a hoot but be cautious, strict with time allotted and business like. Those production people often ask for more and more. I was a photo assistant for a few years......

I think I have been canceled on the shoot was supposed to be today but, Gabriel said he hasn't heard anything?
