Gibbo's 1978 Orange G60

Panel beating has started first the front guard had a little rust on the bottom that needed to be patched.





Also done the lower back barn doors, they needed to be re-skinned because of the rust.






Currently working on the passengers door as this also needs to be re-skinned.

Got my drivers seat back today after being recovered

Finished off the front guards and there now ready for paint had some rust in between the panels where the mirror bolts on that we had to fix but it’s all looking good now.

Had some rust in the fuel tank bracket and also put some extra holes for drainage as there was a heap of dirt in here causing all the rust. Also had to repair the tank itself as the rust had eaten through and causing a small leak.

Been stripping the body back ready for some repairs, few previous patch jobs and the rear corners that will need some work



Will be building the wheel arch back a little as it has been cut out

Big day for the G60 as I also got the all the black parts back from the painters.

Just got the fuel tank cover back from the painters looking sweet

Put the instruments all back together with new glass.



Also got a new number plate its shorter than the normal here so I can ditch the bracket and put it right on the body.

Had the radiator reconditioned after finding out it was falling apart got it back today looks new
