Parts sale & parts order
This is Ian with RMP&O aka www.rmp-o.com. I am currently having a sale on all parts in stock, new & used. The sale will last to the end of March. I am also placing and order soon that will be shipped by sea as it is going to be some larger items. The items not in stock are not on sale. If you are looking for something large and new such as fenders, bumpers, grill, tranny parts, diff parts, starter, clutch and so forth now is a good time to order. I may not do a sea shipped order for some time after this. Some of the things in stock are as follows: -wheel cylinders -rubber hood blocks -brake shoes -points, condensor, rotor -oil filters -various gaskets -various oil seals -various bearings -used wiper motors -new gauges for fuel and amps -new steering wheel -thermostat kits -fuel pump -dual circut master cylinder -new rear leaf springs -OEM turn signals -windshield gaskets, soon to arrive -lot's of used seats -used early doors -15" split rims, used -used distributors -used carbs -Rochester carb kits -Noltec sway bar bushings -and much more! For used parts I have 2 fairly complete Patrols currently being torn down. ALL parts from them are available besides the bodies. I have one electronic ignition kit that is new. It will convert the distributor in your Patrol to run much better without points. I also have a used MQ 4spd tranny and transfer case that will bolt to the Patrol with little modification. It will need a rebuild. Some of the parts I am going to be ordering are -door weather striping -ring & pinion -front bumpers -fenders -license plate lights -hood hooks for holding windshield down -knucklle flange seals -door stop rods -door handles and hardware -and more! Email me at info@rmp-o.com for a complete price listing of all parts for the Patrol.

No problem Jon, will be getting in more door stops in the next shipment. Fuel tanks are in the works, none available new right now. Why don't you fix up one of the 2-3 you have and use it for now. Check back with me in 2-3 months and I should have brand new tanks available. A bit of advice...once you fix a fuel tank or put in a new one take care of it. Meaning drain it at least once a year, let it dry out, flush it with some clean gas and refuel your truck. This will keep rust down in any tank for much longer than if not done. This is one of the reasons there is a drain plug in the bottom of the tank and it clearly states in owners manuals to do this once a year. Also if having probs filling, like it fills extra slow. Increase the size of your breather tube and make sure it works properly. Twickes you asked if there is a screen on the drop tube on a 69...well NO there is not a screen on the drop tube in any 60 series Patrol, a screen might actually be a bad idea as it would get clogged easy and that is what a filter is for. If your lines start to plug it is past time to deal with the tank. Rust in your fuel can cause you to have to rebuild the carb, fuel pump and tank so deal with it as soon as rust dust is found in the filter. The glass bowl fuel seperator is a great thing when it works right. Yet, these break if dropped and I have had a very hard time getting them to seal correctly, even new ones. The idea behind a glass bolw fuel seperator is a very good one though for these trucks but the cork gasket leaks fuel or air. The last thing is a stainless steel tank can be made but this gets real expensive real fast.
