just out of curiosity did aussie 60's have theses ? if they did i would like to know where these 4 mounting tabs are, so i can check to see if grunty had one

Yes they did mate. They were an option, I have. Good picture in my Nissan Service Dept parts book. Ill have a dig tonight

You usually know that you have the mounting tabs because the corners dig holes in your head when you're working under the vehicle. They're welded to the frame just below the doors.

Here are some pics with measurements, first pic is the measurement of the total finished length front to rear=23" second pic is the measurement of the widest section of the pan with the sides bent finished=36" third pic is measurement of the narrowest section with the sides bent finished=27" fourth pic is the inside measurement across the total surface at the widest section=41"-outside measurement will be=41 1/2" fifth pic is the inside measurement across the total surface at the narrow end=31"-outside measurement will be=31 1/2" sixth pic is a drawing i made for you to give the fabricator. If he scribes this onto a sheet of steel it will get him VERY close. Note the mounting hole measurement will be measured from the front (narrow end ) of the pan to the rear. From the very edge all the holes will be drilled 1/2" at center, now from the front of the bent flange the first hole will be 3 3/4" second will be 5 3/4" third will be 14" fourth will be 16". These measurements are dead center of the holes. ALSO on the sides where i indicate where they need to be bent is 5", now this will be for a sharp bend (box and pan type of bend) if you want to have the original style round bend, it will need to be round bent between the 4 1/2" and the 5" mark.

ive checked out my patrol, no plate mounts, I assume these are rare as ? Ron is the go-to man for all our fabrication needs
