69 near Las Vegas

Post by bosque »

I thought this sold a bit ago.......another 69.
Interesting how it seems the sales of Patrols were increasing as time went on. I wonder if Mr. Katayama (= Mr. Peacemountain in Japanese) had not made "the" business agreement with Toyota, what would have come about? http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic ... yama#p1649
.....and why end the Patrol in '69 here in the US. I'll bet this was a close decision to have had to make.
Anyways the Patrol:

Yup, that's the one that sold for 1600 and change recently... The one with the frozen engine.

Hmmm seller says nothing about whether or not it runs - Coincidence? I think not.

time to go post a question on Ebay.

'69 was the last year for import to the US because that was the year the 240Z was released. The Patrol was sacrificed for the Z.
Beyond any hope for intervention
