Lets just say this.... Interstate-82 may be too fast for your Patrol.... Nob Hill during rush hour may be more the right speed... They weren't designed for the highway speeds being run today... 50-60 is about it. I know others have taken them faster but.... at what risk? Better to stay safe and keep it at slower speeds i say...

So 60 MPH is exceptable, 50-55 is more like it. I just want to know if I can actually drive to the hills or tow it up there. I'll mostly be going White Pass, Chinook Pass, and Tampico. Don't wan't to get run over by the Milkyway trucks up on White Pass. Sounds Like its Suitable. Just don't want to push the Beast further than its designed to do. But I got to get where I'm going!

If you are heading to the hills, might be easier to tow to the hill until you get off road..... those logging trucks up there are not going to take kindly to a slow poke... Your choice... You are very close to the hills... for me, it would be a tow since I am over an hour just to your place....

I need to replace the break switch on my 67 master cylinder. I'm leaking fluid
out of the electrical connection, anything I can buy at Autozone, ect.

Question for the masters of all that is sacred...

Does anyone know the size/thread of the brake switch bore for the brake master cylinder?
I read through the questions here and saw the link to ebay for the switch but it doesn't reference the size.
My master cylinder needs to be re threaded and the switch needs the threads prettied up. As they are now, they look like a 400 lb woman in Jessica Albas jeans. (Like that, hu? )

Don't worry I bought one and it works great. Turns out i did not need it though as the flow was blocked. If you take the switch off and push the brake a few time to blow fluid through it may clear it. just saying. But the switch does fit and work. That guy that sells that stuff is pretty cool. He used to have a web site but it crashed or something. datsun311 I believe.

When rebuilding the front wheel cylinders does the piston come apart to allow you to put the new cup on or do you just squeeze it over the end?? The end of the cylinder is a lot larger than the inside diameter of the cup so it seems like its gonna be a super tough job to force it over the end.
