You can get most all manuals and a few parts books from here http://www.schiffeuropean.com./Main_Catalog.html I have bought from them and they are good books. No need to look further as he has what you all have been asking for. Ian

I have a NISSAN PETROL diesel vehicle. I presume it is 1993 model. I am not very sure because it is a preused vehicle imported by a private party. The Name plate particulars on the vehicle are as follows. TYPE :- Y-WR GY60; Chassiss No.WRGY 60-510603; MODEL :- CRGY60PKTAZ :ENGINE No. TD42-0037777. I want the following information. (1) What model vehicle is this? Whether my presumption that it is a 1993 model Vehicle is correct? (2) Can any body e-mail me the wiring diagram applicable to this model.(3) The coolant is getting over heated even after short journies and the radiator is getting evacuated. How can I remedy this.(4)The vehicle has got auto transmission and I have a feeling that the gears are not shifting when they should. How can I adjust this?(5) There is a sensor for cutting off the A.C Compressor by disconnecting its clutch when the coolant gets over heated. At what temperature should this act. Thanks. Rao.

Hi Rao C = High roof Station Wagon R = TD42 engine (4.2 litre Diesel) G = long wheel base Y60 = Model = Nissan Patrol Y60 series PKTAZ = vehicle serial number 1993 = ???? can't tell from info I have You may find all your problems stem from running to hot. The Nissan GQ Patrol diesel TD42 has does develop overheating problems. 1. The viscus fan unit fails to function properly, either get it recharged with oil or replace. 2. The Fan blade develops radial cracks between blades and distorts so does not move so much air, replace. 3. The transmission oil cooling section of radiator maybe partly blocked put in aftermarket oil cooler and service transmission. 4. Check radiator core is not blocked and get flushed as necessary. 5. Radiator fins blocked (mud/grass etc.) clean out as necessary. 6. If the transmission is overheating chech for mud/grass etc arround transmission which will inhibit cooling air flow. 7. Check correct tension on fan belts. If you are new to four wheeling or just setting up your truck then the TECH HINTS section of my website http://equip4.co.nz this site is basses arround Nissan patrols in New Zealand. We also have a range of recovery gear along with a gallery and a technical hint section, have a look and if it is of interest to you email me and I will put your name on the Newsletter email list for future updates.Peterequip4.co.nz
