I was recently looking up some G60 stuff on ebay and saw this G60 for sale. I noticed inbetween the hella lights is something on the bonnet. I am a such a newbie everything G60 and have no idea what it is or what it does.

Can someone please explain. :D

It is a hold down hook for when the windscreen is folded down on the hood. Where the Hella's are mounted should actually be rubber rests to support the windscreen when it's down. Guess the mounting holes looked like they needed lights instead. :|

Its the windshield latch to hold the windshield frame down when you have it folded down. Where the Hella lights are is actually where the windshield rubber bumps go to support the windshield while it is down.( edit, Damn RP was too fast for me!!)

Cool. Thanks for that. :D My initial thought was a spare tire holder but it didnt look right. haha.

I've got a couple of holes in my bonnet and now I know what they're for. :)

Like everything G60 ... it must be a hard part to get a hold of.

The latch isn't too hard to come by bt finding one that hasn't frozen up can be harder. As for the rubber rests, they can be reproduced with hockey pucks and patience
