It could be an original roof rack, that was fitted as an option. I remembered that it was supposed to handle filming equipment and crew!! I'm not making this up. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any reference in the catalogs of brochures. Maybe RiverPatrol can have something.

I just now noticed the snorkel in your picture. Please post some shots of the engine bay and how the snorkel plumbing please.

I agree with sleepyzzz, I wanna see how that breather is plumbed.

Your Patrol looks awesome! Send pics of all angles and full interior shots including under the hood and undercarriage. Stick the camera up the tailpipe while you are inside the tub (upside down). Could you also send the tread depth remaining on each tire? How's your cholesterol?

that is sad, but i have found that a lot of dealers don't know the history and heritage of Nissan, and only care about selling what is sitting on their lot .

I will attempt to answer several of the questions ....
The snorkeling set-up no longer functions as the original drivetrain was replaced.
I do have the doors.
The roof rack has been on the Patrol for many years; fits perfectly.
