I don't see any runs or drips...

thanks :D

it doesnt have any runs since I shot 3 light coats. it looks a little off if you look closely. not sure why but Im thinking it has to do with my paint/acetone mixture ratio.
oh well I was prepared to color sand anyway :D

I had the opportunity to stop by and check the progress yesterday. It's really looking great. Kris is paying a lot of attention to detail and is obviously a perfectionist. This Patrol is going to turn out to be a very nice driver and dog carrier. :D

Kris - you'll need to sand the thumbprint I left on the glove box lid. ;)
Beyond any hope for intervention

Noooo!

You are just like my friend, Chris. (Yes, I have a friend) He has a magenetic finger. He always shows up after I paint and touches EVERY single thing.

Actually I will leave the thumb print. It should add to the value. I can tell people my Patrol was blessed by River Patrol

Thank you for your comments :D

Would you kindly provide some info on your seat reupholstery?
Did you find a replacement the horsehair stuffing? Did you have to replace the caged nuts which attached the spring assembly to the frame?
Photos of the seats (front & rear) would be great.
We need details!!!

Hi Kieth,

That wont be a problem. I can take them out and take photos on my next day off. Would you like me to include the jumper seats too?

The previous owner bought these seats from Leslie and had them recovered in vinyl. I am almost certain that the inner material is original. It is horsehair and smells approximately 50 years old. In fact, the jumper seats still have the little stickers with Japanese writing on the padding.
Leslie could better answer your question though.
I take the seats out and snap some pics when I am home during daylight.

Kris
