Patrol i hope, i have to file for abandon title on these parts patrols. If it becomes a problem i might have to register it as a jeep. But i think Arizona has to go off the vin on the body. So probably Patrol.

Well me and my son have decided to build a standard cab. Time constraints and cost helped make this decision. I just ordered a 4.5" lift kit for the jeep chassis we are going to use and a set of 33x1050x15 BFG KM2 mud terrains and 15x8 Black Rock Viper wheels 3 3/4" offset. OUCH! That was about $2500.00 in about 15 min. And im not even 1/4 of the way there yet. What did i get myself into! HE HE, Its going to be a fun project. im going to order the sheet metal and tubing for the cab and bed in a couple of weeks. I will post more pics when we get started.

dual cab g60 has been a dream of mine for the last decade and a bit. so i applaud your choice, and ill be following your progress with interest.
i would take the crew/dual cab over an extra cab, as whilst an extra cab is handy, the dual cab will get a lot more use.
just my own personal take on your drawing (its good btw, shows your intentions nicely)
i would position the rear differential around 30 inches behind the back wall of the cabin, just to maintain a reasonable ramp over angle for 4x4 use. (i would be looking at making the wheelbase about 2.9 meters- 9.2ft, lol could just round it to 10 ft neat)
if your not planning on using it for lots of 4x4 work then the above doesnt matter, and the longer wheelbase you have in your pic would improve the on road ride significantly........
Yes it will get a lot of 4x4 use. As i mentioned in the last post, we have decided to go with a standard (single cab). When i build mine i will most likely build the crew. Thanks for your suggestions, i will definitely be careful on the wheel base as i plan on 4x4ing as well.
Me and my son dug out my sand blasting cabinet thats been in storage for the last 6 years. Ron jr spent a few hours sand blasting and painting some of the parts for his Patrol. Here are the emblems we finished tonight. We are going for a blackout look on his Patrol. We also sand blasted and oiled two sets of hood hinges that were rusted solid, they are working great now.

What material/s did you use to blast with?
i used silica sand on these heavier parts. my son didnt know i had a sandblasting cabinet. he loves it, he cant sandblast enough. if anyone needs anything done, send it his way. 000000 of course
