Re: Traded the Z
Back on the road this morning and what a blast. I ran it for a few hours and enjoyed the day. Hopefully some more seat time tomorrow.

Re: Traded the Z
I got to drive an early GTR and a 350z back in 2007 when the local SCCA chapter that I used to be a member of set up a demo-day with Nissan at our local track... It was a blast.
on the road course, I honestly have to say I preferred the Z - it felt more like a race car- the GTR's extra weight was definitely noticeable, even in track mode.
Now, for flat out acceleration and seat of the pants feel, the GTR was nuts - my modified 97 Vette had over 500hp at the flywheel, but the GTR consistently ripped off 0-60 and quarter mile times that I was never able to achieve in my Corvette.
If I was going to choose one for cruising, and off-track driving on back country roads, the GTR would have been an easy choice -
Congrats Chris - hope you enjoy it, and can avoid any futher close-up wildlife encounters

Re: Traded the Z
There is something about shifting a stick in and out of the corners but I'm gaining on the paddles.
The GTR is completely nuts. I really have never seen such an angry vehicle but it's also comfortable just cruising.
