Patrol Body on Ebay
I found this what I am assuming is a rolling Patrol shell on EBay. Looks like the tub / body have been refurbished and looks really clean (at least in the pictures) . No top, I don't think it has an engine or Transmission either but not really sure. He says he is selling it for parts only?

Sorry - this is going to be off-topic.
Judging from the 3 tabs you have open in your browser, you sir are a Patrolaholic. Perhaps some intervention is needed.

Think this is the one that was on the Orlando craigslist earlier year. Was asking 7k if I remember correctly.

Also off topic, does parts cleaner normally make your hands feel like there is a small amount of electric current flowing through them? Maybe I should get some rubber gloves....

Yes, and take it from someone who never wore chemical gloves 20 years ago, and who now gets viciously painful splits on his fingers, due to there being no lanolin left in his skin: WEAR THE GLOVES.
Back to the original topic- I thought when that white Florida Patrol was listed for 7 grand it was a complete, but non functional rig - maybe he sold the powertrain...
either way, 5500 for a rolling chassis and body seems steep to me (especially when you have to tack transportation on top of that)

Not to drag us back on topic or anything...
The ad doesn't say that the drivetrain is missing -- He says "No Top" (which is pretty obvious from the pictures) so I suspect that the drive train is actually there.

True, but when you list things on eBay you have to choose between "New, "Used" , "Remanufactured" or "For Parts- Not Working"faux40 wrote:Not to drag us back on topic or anything...

He selected "for parts- not working" which tells me that at the very least it doesn't run. I think when selling a vehicle on eBay they give you spots for up to 12 free photos. USE THEM!
