Now we have insulated the metal fuel pipe with some rubber pipe. And we have cleaned the filter in the carburetor. It wasn't very dirty, but we did manage to make a piece of toilet paper somewhat brown by soaking the filter in gasoline and rubbing it

Would it be possible to buy a new filter, or is it a rare Patrol-thing?
The fuel level in the carburetor is right at the middle of the glass. We checked it after the engine had only run for a few minutes, so we will do it again the next time we experience the engine stop. We will drive tomorrow so we should know then.
By the way: the air filter was quite oily. Is it supposed to be that?
