Anaheim, CA - anyone have a Patrol nearby?

Post by zed »

I have found a company who will produce a outdoor vehicle cover for the Patrol. They need an actual Patrol to make the measurements. Do you have a Patrol you could lend for a day. (There will be a benefit to you for your help!)
Thanks,
Keith

I second River's question... If I don't have to take a second mortgage, I may be interested in getting one too -- Kind of that group buy for a better price theory!

I need to know more about the mirror placement on the different years and measurements. How many different locations? I can see a problem for a business wanting to just make one pattern to fit all, especially since there are only a few of us out there. I have an extra door mirror I can take with me that would be the same size as the fender mirror but I do not know how far from the firewall the mirror sits ?

They'll never be able to accommodate all the possible mirror placements. I have a couple Patrols with windshield hinge mounted mirrors on both sides, and then there's Togo with the tripod style mirrors that the original owner installed.

The Land Cruiser cover that I get doesn't have mirror pockets on it, most likely for the very same reason.

Keith - cover your mirrors with plastic, or remove them.
