How many are intrested in this?

Really old stuff that got saved. Here are the old Nissan Patrol Club America messages from the 'General' category. Warning, it's dusty in here!

How many are intrested in this?

I was wondering for awhile now how many people would like to buy a Soft Top Frame.? This would be a copy of original and would bolt right in your L60 Patrol. I have two S/T frames and have been thinking of having them replicated for resale. It would be an exact copy of original, even could go as far as making two types...the early style frame and the later one. I could also supply the optional rear guard that is a cool feature. These would be made out of quality steel...yes you can get one made yourself but you need a frame to copy or measurements for it to be original. Why not save yourself the hassle and buy a kit?? And wouldn't nearly everyone want a S/T for summer wheeling!?   So how many would buy one and how much would you pay?? What is fair...$100, $200, $300, $500!? I have an idea on cost but want feedback....thanks.

hey fud, that is a very good idea in my opinion.  i would buy that S/T in a heartbeat.  there are so many 4 wheelin places here in Colorado.  the one thing i am curious about is if it would fit around a roll bar.  specifically the ones that i've heard come out of a jeep wrangler.  it would seem like it would fit but it's just a thought.  well any input from you or anyone else would be great.  i think you should go for the soft top idea.  very cool.  thanks R.J.

Hey RJ!   These would be copies of the stock s/t frame. A roll bar would have to be made to fit under the s/t frame, easy to do but I would only have kits that are copies of original. I am also thinking of having them made on a "made to order" basis....   IAN

Hi Ian,   I would be very interested.  Would this frame also come with the canvas top too?  If so, I'm in.  I am about to get a hard top but I would rather go with a sweet softtop.  If this softtop will fit over my roll bar(works with the hard top) then I would pay $300-500 for a solid match.  Email me directly with feedback.  Also, I imagine John from Arizona would  be interested too.   jasondmcallister@hotmail.com

I think that if roll bar o cage fits hard top then it should fit soft top, isn't it?. I am interested to buy the soft top hardware. I would pay around $200.00 Dlls

unfortunately $200 will not even cover the cost of having a kit made. As to if it will fit with a roll bar...beats me, that depends on your roll bar. If I get some made then I will post them forsale here on this site.

Hello,  I was curious if you ever had any of these s/t frames made? I recently acquired a '69 kl60 with a rusted out roof and would be interested in one of these. Thanks
