Forlorn 67 softie.

Post by plateaucal »

Well no organ donations from the 69 for this fella so he sits in the shed. Time to start boxing up his parts. Can anyone identify the part in my hand and the doors? I have not seen doors with the panel at the top though this does look factory.

The part in your hand fits between the fender vent and the kick panel vent.

The door is definitely interesting. I have never seen that body line on a Patrol before. Maybe it was a replacement skin?
Beyond any hope for intervention

The panel seems to have been very neatly and professionally plug welded from the back side. Factory? How would you get the door apart to do that?

Definitely not factory. Body men can do amazing things to body panels. I have seen Patrol door skins for sale in the past. Not the whole door, just the outer panel.
