Well, it appears you bought a big lump of bondo... disguised as a Nissan Patrol.Gerk wrote:YUCK- what did I buy

If you look closely, there is a spare in the back.
5 Factory wheels that I will not be using.
Or should I be??

1) Use them, or
2) Check your PM's...

I replied to PM. Hope it went through.
Things I will be keeping for sure-
Dash
gauges, glove box, light, oh shit bar, defrost vents.
Hard top
steering wheel
turn signal
top door halves
There may be more, but that is where I am at right now.

That's very cool that you found your dash parts and hard top that you were looking for...

Re: And SO it Begins - The 66 Patrol Project
Thank you very much.
The parts are in pretty good shape.
The steering wheel has their usual cracks but that's easy to fix.
The gauges are good except some paint has chipped inside and not sure how to restore properly as I can barely see the fuel levels. I want to reshoot the faces, but I love that font for the numbers and letters.
The middle dashboard light is there which is nice. No lens but I will try to part one out unless anyone knows what part may be compatible.
The trans seems to be much better than my other, so I may just do a swap.
I will be checking out the chassis as a swap as well as this one does not have giant spring perches like my other.
