69 patrol
Traded a car for this patrol a year or a little more ago. Previous owner obviously didn't know much, and had adjusted all the valves with #1 @ TDC, never rotated the engine. Needless to say it didn't run to good, LOL. I adjusted the valves properly, and it ran much better, but had a sticky valve. Drove it around the block, just to make sure it shifted through all the gears, and see the condition of the brakes, etc.... All seemed OK, Then pulled it into the garage, pulled the intake/exhaust off, with plans to pull the head and get the valve fixed up. Didn't want to yank the head 'till I was certain I had the time to put it all back. That time never came... and then the wife began nagging about it, then she began complaining about it, then she started B*tching about it, now she claims all she wants for her birthday is the Patrol out of the garage. Also has several bins of extra parts, can't really even remember what. Do also have the doors, and all the glass is good. With my career, I'll probably never get to it. So, it is for sale or trade. I'd take $1400, or trade for interesting things that my wife would hate. Running 3-wheeler, 4 wheeler, deer rifle, maybe a new wife???? Really, I am pretty open on trades, just something fun, and doesn't need work. Located in Kansas City Area, many of you probably saw this same patrol for sale in Des Moines Craigslist same time I did. Asking price at that time was $2000, I traded that guy a car for it, I have a good title for Patrol.
