Excellent Ron.
I took this photo this morning along with the measurements. For some reason, the spacing of the bolts is giving me an exact measurement in mm rather than inches. I included both.
I might have another base in one of my boxes, if you need to fine tune it.
Another measurements:
Total length (from left to right): 3-9/16"
Total width (shorter base): 2-13/16
Wow, the minor defects really show up in this pictures. Time for some repainting.

While all the hardware may be standard sizes, I bet the design is all metric, including bolt patterns.Esteban wrote:Excellent Ron.

I'm ashamed to show the mirror part, since it's from a Toyotamdawg4x4 wrote: While all the hardware may be standard sizes, I bet the design is all metric, including bolt patterns.

I have found that everything in the old Patrols is in Standard measurements. Bolts, engine components, and so on. But by the time they decided to put the mirrors on the fenders, all Nissan cars were metric, except the Patrol until 78 when the made the change to metric.

Looks great, I fought that 1/16" when I measured. Going with mm seams more reasonable. Sorry for my bogus measurements. You can wrap that up with my steps and send me another bill.
