So, several days ago I was out in the garage working on my 65, and a guy in a Ford pickup cruises by... no biggie. Then several minutes later, he comes back by from the other direction, and stops at my driveway and gets out of the truck. He walks over and asks "How long have you had your Patrol?" and gestures toward what is left of the El Paso 66.
So, I give him the short rundown on the Ebay Patrol, and that I'm using it as a donor for the white 65 I'm in the process of rebuilding, and he says "I used to have a red 69 when I lived in Mesa"...
Hmmm a red 69 in Mesa, so I ask "Did it have a set of original hubcaps? and is your name Boyd?" and he smiles and says "yeah" ... Boyd Leon just happened to be on my block looking at a house that's for sale down the street.
So, I told him he was an idiot for not ebaying those hubcaps before he sold his Patrol, and I told him to get the hell off my property....

No, I'm just joking - He was a really nice guy, and we chatted Patrols for about 15-20 minutes.
Small world.
