yup, my green Patrol had the same issue after I put it all back together- I re-used the same shims on the MC that were already there, and yet the brakes would steadily build more and more pressure, but it would never bleed back off unless you opened a bleeder on one of the wheels...4x4bob wrote: the previous owner never adjusted the shaft on the master cylinder
It turned out the piston rod on the master wasn't original, and was nearly 1/2 inch longer than the correct one, so I had to cut it and re-grind the end get the geometry and end gap correct...

) ; but keep a watchful eye on those long rear shackles... The angle on them increases the risk of "shackle inversion", which is when the movement of the rear springs force the shackles to fold
