Well boys and girls,

I trekked roughly 420 miles to inspect this rig. No VIN tags were to be found. I was VERY shocked at how far gone the old girl is. All that stuff you see peeling off is not paint but about 1" or thicker layer of bondo that was piled on over ALOT of rust and dents. There is rust EVERYWHERE! Winch on the front was busted. There are a few sought after parts but most just small things like knobs, glass bowl fuel filter assy, Dash light assy w/lens, I think there were a few of the round smaller lights that were ok, original seat front and rear, spare tire carrier, PTO unit, Pintle hook and a couple badges. I think that was pretty much it. Hard top has been smashed down on the top and the side are all pretty much rusted out. It does have the original engine and most of the stock stuff in the engine bay. All in all I would have maybe taken it for $300-$500 personally but that's about it. There is well over 5k in body work alone, unless maybe you imported almost every new panel Citroa makes and even then your talking big bucks. Anyway there's pic of the frame # and engine # in the add now if you want to add it to the registry.

On a side note the guy had another 69 Patrol in there that a "customer" of his owns that is being fixed up. I was going to get the numbers but the hood wouldn't open for us and there wasn't one on the door jam.

That's my .02. Now I am going to take a nap before my hard night of sitting around and getting paid for it. ;) :D

Justin,
If you do end up with it, I'll chip in $1.53 for the four (4) valve stem caps. I will go as high as $1.82, presuming the threads are intact.

Should I dare ask what BF is?
You had to have gone right passed me to get from LA to Kosciusko.

BFL is the same as BFE only not in Egypt in Louisiana :D

Yeah I should have called you and met up but I was under a bit of a time crunch as I needed to get back and catch a few zzz's before work. Made the an insane time of 3 hrs flat up and back, which is REALLY FAST! No cops and long straight stretches. Love my Jetta TDI, still got 40mpg at those speeds!! :o
