I discovered yesterday that the rear reflectors on 68+ Patrols is exactly the same as it is on 311 Datsuns. The 311 it is a two piece set up with a chrome ring. However, the actual reflector pops off this chrome ring and matches the Patrols reflector exactly. Even the number on the reflector is the same. This only works for Patrols with the rectangular shaped reflector hole.

I think you mean pre-69. After '68 the reflectors were larger, placed in a different location, more of them, and they bolted on. Some of the very early ones bolted on also. It was the mid years that had the rectangular opening to mount with the tabs.

You are probably right, I have never owned a 69. They match the ones on my 68 perfectly, didn't go out and check the tub on the 67 or 66 here before posting. They are not the earlier style though with the rubber base and chrome ring.
