Seeing it and running it for the first time here in the USA

walk around video and run of it here at my place, ignore the stuff at the end about the Land Cruisers. I scrapped those plans and the SD33T is going in the 83.

The stock SD33 N/A the bling bling motor replaced. Had not started it in 3yrs, this was right before I tore the engine out, it is going in my 77 Ute.

Ha! Of course! I was actually in Aus. in early 2009. Stayed at Steve's house in Sydney for awhile, traveled all around eastern Aus. Spent a long weekend up in Toowoomba at Yuri 4x4's place. Hell of a guy Yuri, put me up and fed me awesome food and let me drive his rock crawling buggy. I even got to see the massive G60 that is Chubby. Spent my 36th B-day on Fraser Island drinking warm Guinness and warding off dingos! A trip I will never forget. Would love to come back.

Bloody heck. Looks like a very hard holiday to top :D
i have a 4wd action dvd with a bit of footage showcasing chubby in action. Its one hell of a tough rig, and i would absolutely love to build something along that line at some point- well perhaps not that wild, but as wild as i could go and remain street legal. Not much point building something awesome which i couldnt actually use :?
