Welcome Brian!
Your Patrol is a very complete early soft top, with the uber rare tailgate and side-mounted spare (most US market Patrols had a swing-away rear spare mount and side-hinge rear doors.
Does your Patrol still have the ID tag on the firewall behind the valve cover? If so, then please check out this thread, and snap some pictures of the numbers on the frame, engine, and the ID tag:

1965 Patrol
Hey guys...thanks for the welcomes! I only know where the vehicle has been since 1981. A lady in small town purchased in 1981 from a dealer in the same town (Crisfield Maryland). I assume she drove it for a short period of time with so few miles on it. Most of its life was parked inside a chicken house for 20-30 years. It was purchased by a flea market dealer. I think he had it for about the past 2-3 years. His brother owned a used car dealership where I found it. After a few phone calls, it was on a tow truck back to my house.
Unfortunately the ID plate is missing. The title has L60200680 as the VIN. I assume those numbers would match. Isnt there supposed to be stamping on the frame somewhere?
I am very novice the the patrols. After just your guys comments I am VERY excited. I was thinking someone relocated the spare tire carrier during its life and started dreading searching for the correct parts. I am glad I was wrong!
Learning about the rarity of the vehicle, I think it would be a smart plan to keep and restore it. Any advice and/or suggestions are welcome!
Question 1....where do you find parts????

Re: 1965 Patrol
The link above in moore_rb's post will show you where to find the VIN stamped on the frame. As for where to find parts? It depends on what you need. There is not any one-stop-shopping location. Just post what you're looking for and someone can usually point you in the right direction, if the part is obtainable.

Welcome to 60Patrol, Brian!
Eager to see pictures of your Patrol. Maybe when the weather cools down a bit, maybe I could visit you. I live in Ashburn, VA, about 3 hours from where you live.
