(2) 60 Series Patrols

Post by mdawg4x4 »

I am not physically capable of working on projects anymore and have too many things going anyway, so it is great regret that I have come to the point I think I am going to part with my 2 Patrols. Wanted to put them on here and our local 4X4 forum 1st.
I am not even sure what to ask for them, but I ain't donating them to somebody else. Not interested in selling them separately. No parting out. All or nothing. If interested, send me a PM.

1963 Nissan Patrol
1967 Nissan Patrol

The 63 wasn't running when I bought it. I got it from a guy who got it from his uncle to restore, but lost interest (wife said get rid of it).
The 67 was running when I got it but seemed to flood out easily. Not being a carburetor guy, I never got it running good, and working 6-7 days a week never got to spend more time with it.

I agree. I've been a Datsun/Nissan guy since learning to drive in a 74 620 pickup back in 1977.
My goal was to hang onto them until I could retire, but it doesn't look like I'll have anywhere to work on them, and I cannot do my own automotive work like I did years ago.

Good luck Mike, Most of us have been there and fully understand the dilemma.

Having sold most of my collection, I don't regret it and actually feel free, and not locked into 60 Series as much. Enjoy buddy

I am not in a huge hurry as I don't even have time to get them cleaned up to take pictures. I basically have time for nothing. Working 6-7 days a week, I don't want anything to do on the occasional 7th day off. I know I'll regret it later down the road.

I have finally decided to part ways with my 2 Patrols. I hate to see them just sitting around, when they need to be put back on the road. I always wanted to put a modern drive train in them after retirement, but have lost interest, and don't have the ability to do this type of work myself anymore. I want to sell them together and need to get $5500 out of what I have. I want to list them here before listing elsewhere, other than already telling a Nissan coworker that has many auto enthusiasts contacts.
I am still working on the brakes and fuel system items as time permits, but that is not often.

I have got to the point I have lost interest in my 2 old Nissan Patrols.
I have ~$5500 – 6000 tied up in them.
Want to sell together and really need $5500 out of them
(1) 1963 Nissan Patrol – gray/white top
