If it doesn't fit in the others but is 60 series related, post it up.

Yes I can but it is the same as the vin plate. As you can see and what I wrote above it is not a "Nissan" vin plate. Like I say, I think it was stamped when it hit NZ not at the plant in Japan. Perhaps all NZ Patrols are this way, I don't know, I only have one from NZ.
It's probably similar to the Australian Compliance plate. I think that's what's on my pickup. Interesting note; the Australian VIN or ID plate doesn't list the engine number. That's probably why they don't get real excited about matching numbers - there's no way to know if the engine is the original.

Just added Kardoc0's newly acquired '69 Patrol. Interesting fact about this Patrol: it is the first 'true' '69 that I have found that has both ID plates. His has the ID plate mounted on the radiator core support (this was the new location for '68, and it also has the ID plate riveted to the left 'B' pillar near the door latch. Which actually creates a DMV nightmare if this vehicle ever had to be inspected, because the VIN number on the B pillar ID plate is different than the VIN stamped on the frame and on the ID plate in the engine compartment.

Actually, this is a conundrum with every 'true' '69. The ID plate on the B pillar (normally the only ID plate on the vehicle) has the VIN starting with the letter 'K' (as in KL60), yet the VIN stamped on the frame starts with the letter 'L'.

These are the 2 ID plates from his Patrol:

4594

4593

...and here is the VIN stamped on the frame. Just keep your mouth shut when you go to the DMV. :shhh:

Mine has both ID plates as well. When I return home I can post a pic.
