Re: Miller's 1977 V8 g60
Dropped my wife and kids at the airport super early this morning so got home and jumped in the shed.
I needed to weld a nut to the screw to get the bugger out. I've seen this done before but never tried it myself. It worked a treat! A quick photo for reference and catalog purposes and now these babies are off to be plated!

Need a hand getting these window regulator knobs off. Ian you once told me there is a cir-clip under the washer but these later model reg's seem to have a rivet!

Yep those type are riveted on. I don't know if they can be removed and replaced. But they can still be rechromed with the knobs still on there from what I am told.

Re: Miller's 1977 V8 g60
Hey everyone, its been a while!!
The mad rush is on now for the Cape trip. Ferdy and I chat regularly to keep each other motivated. My Patrol is almost ready to go. Went for a test drive today and still seem to be having issues with the fuel pressurising in the filter and wont start.
Some of the things I need to do in the next two weeks are..
Rear wheel bearing
Fit roof top tent and rack
Install auxiliary battery
Install winch cable
Install UHF Radio
Fix fuel/non starting issue!
Get some test miles on it!

Glad to hear from you Tim. Hope you solve your outstanding issues rapidly.
Can you give us some more specifics about the fuel problem? Is the fuel pump ok?
The rear wheel bearing seems like an urgent problem to solve before the trip. Have you collected the parts needed so far?
