I have been documenting with pictures as I go. But all of the sudden last night a small ball bearing appeared.
Anyone familiar with where this rolled out?
Thanks guys
Oh boy.... rebuilding carbs via "long distance with pics" is a challange I'm not sure I'm up for.
But, I looked up and studied some two-barrel Hitachi carb diagrams, and I see two ball bearings in the accelerator pump assembly
One goes at the bottom of the main barrel for the Accelerator pump (red arrrow), beneath the accelerator pump rod (red circle) and the other ball goes in the Accelerator pump pressure bleed circuit (blue arrow- but it doesn't look like you unscrewed this valve, if I am seeing your picture correctly; so I imagine that bearing is still inside there).
Hope this helps...

Long distance is better than not at all I hope!
Much appreciated, thanks!
Ok I had my beauty out for a spin yesterday and realized its still backfiring when I am coasting.
Took it back to the garage and realized the vacuum operated coasting valve has no vacuum hose connected ..and none to be found or spot to connect one....hmmm
Besides that it's running great thanks to alll the help here guys
