Hey guys
Happy New Year :occasion-xmas:

I've been busy with the build, I located a P40 engine that needs some TLC to put in the old girl. I'll keep with the updates.
I also decided to do a different colour paint with a all black finish i'll take some pics of how it came out on some parts as I havent done it to the entire body as of yet, I would welcome all thoughts of the body colour when I post pics of it and its effects.

Thanks I like the green too but I am doing a DIY paint job and this is the level of skill i can do well so textured black is the way I am going.Have a bunch of chrome parts like bumper and rails to put on so black and chrome would be the theme of sorts but its still on the drawing board.

Hey Jimmy, is the texture "the look" you are going for or has there been a major reaction with your paint?

The texture is the look I am going for there is no reaction to the paint it has a very rough texture almost like a bedliner.I choose this because with my other offroad vehicles they tend to get custom pinstriping on the decent paint jobs when out in the bush. This paint effect eliminates that the only thing is it may be a little more difficult to get mud out of it but ill have to test that to be sure .....there is always the pressure washer.

Great looking Patrol you have there!

I owned a 1984 wagon just like yours, with a P40 engine. Still miss it.
