Driving age in Oregon is 16 permit at 15.. When my son turned 12 I gave him my 1968 Patrol. Body was fantastic but it needed rings. My son is now 14 about to turn 15. Last weekend by what must have been, "divine intervention" I found a "running" compete Patrol Driveline on craigslist! I have been collecting parts for years and now it is time to put this thing together. I hope my son can find the information he will need and I hope we will figure out a few things and give back to the community. It is nice to be back. ... father and son project is now in full swing.

Thanks, I was gone much longer than I had intended. Life sort of gets in the way sometimes. I have to keep momentum going this time. As soon as the weather gets al little dryer I hope to really get going.

Re: Returning New Member
Good looking Patrol and good intro.
I grew up in Oregon, born in Reedsport, lived up in the coastal mnts on the family farm until I was about 6yrs old and then we moved to Eugene where I lived the next 18yrs until I moved to Wyoming. Bought my first Patrol in Corvallis when I was about 19yrs old back in the early 90's. First one I ever saw but after getting it I found numerous others both close to Eugene and far away in Oregon. Hood River is a great little town, I was last there about 8yrs ago for a wedding.
Cheers
