Patrol Newbie

I recently purchased a '67 SWB Patrol that came from California (I'm in PA). It is a little rough, but it seems like enough of it is there to try to get it running well. The body work is a little too rough for a full restoration so we are just going to have fun with it and not worry too much about how it looks. I don't have any history on it, but my guess is that it changed hands several times in its nearly 50 years. Like an old house, a lot of things have been patched together (poorly) to keep it moving. The engine has pretty good compression so hopefully I can get the fuel delivery and spark combination dialed in and get it running right. I am sure I will have some questions for the group as I start digging in a little deeper.

Thanks. It was an ebay purchase - I had it shipped to PA. Hard to find them on the east coast.

Welcome to 60Patrol! Sounds like you have good plans for your new Patrol.

Looking at the eBay pictures, it seems that the hoses to the heater might be connected incorrectly. If you could post a better picture of them we can help you straighten them out.

What are your plans for a roof?
