Hey guys,
Im in Australia and just got my first G60, not sure how good it is came with no motor and just about to start strip out, but the main issue is that the compliance plate is not on the car, and i cant find chassis number. Interested in any info anybody may have to help me out find out a year it was made what size motor should go back in it etc. Some of you may know this car it is a yellow G60 SWB had 350 chev motor in it and i know its had a lot of owners, so even if you have only second hand info on this it would be greatly appreciated and resto pics (before during and after) will be available for yous all to see shortly
THANKS VERY MUCH TO ANYBODY WHO IS ABLE TO HELP ME OUT. Also any info on full wiring harness diagram would also be great

Re: new to patrol
Welcome to 60Patrol!
Congratulations on your G60.
If you can post some pictures up, someone might recognize it.
The chassis number is stamped on the frame. In the engine compartment lean over the right fender and look down at the frame. A few inches ahead of the firewall the chassis number is stamped on the frame. You may need to get a wire brush and clean of dirt and paint to find it, but that's where it is.
Look through the Gallery and the Projects category for tons of pictures.
You can find wiring diagrams here: Wiring Diagrams. They are different depending on the year of the truck, but all pretty similar.
