Nice work! Good to know that making new hard lines isn't a challenge.

Easy flex lines from O'Reilly were easy to install. They are pre-flared available in various lengths.

Anybody have a spare set of rear brake shoe springs they are willing to part with?

I was going to clean the old tank and line it with a fuel tank repair kit, but the bottom already had many patches and a couple additional small leaks. The baffle was also broke loose and rattling around on the inside.
I went with an early CJ5 tank and sending unit and will probably add a fuel gauge that matches it.
Anybody know the stock fuel sending unit resistance is empty to full?
Also will have to adapt fuel hoses and filler neck.

You might look at the Datsun 521 hose, the fitting are SAE, although the length mat not be sufficient for the Patrol. (The Datsun 240Z and Toyota Fj40 are metric.).

I've been told there may be a couple places around here that can make brake hoses. I'm going to check them out.
Also got the fuel tank out yesterday. It is full of sludge in the bottom and has a baffle broke loose. Was just going to clean it and line it, but,,,maybe I can get an old CJ tank to work. It looks to be slightly smaller than the Patrol tank. Got a guy not far from me that CAN build one if needed.

Left front back together including new hard lines to the splitter block. Easy bend lines from O'Reilly's worked great. I'm going to try to get the right front back together tomorrow night.

So did you use the 4wd products wheel cylinders? Were they a good fit? That is my next step.

The front cylinders are in yes. Note the bleeder and brake line orientation. The cylinders appear identical, but the bleeder and opening for the brake line are different between the 2 pair of front cylinders I received. I think they are set up left and right. I got lucky. I didn't notice the difference until I started the RH side. The remaining 2 new uninstalled front wheel cylinders matched what I hadn't removed yet. I did have to file the opening in the backing plate on the RH side only slightly to get them to seat properly.
My rear brake springs arrived last week, but it's going to have to warm up a bit before I get back to it. It was below freezing this weekend.

Cool, I have been waffling on dropping 220 on wheel cylinders. Then today as I was talking to my next door neighbor he told me he was paying a c note per, for his 69 jag wheel cylinders Guess it's time to get off the fence.
