Side project

Post by Mattbob53 »

So I moved a few months ago, got most of the honey dews done. patrol is number one project in my books but not the wife's. I decided I need a powder coating oven to do what I wanted to do to the patrol. So, I decided to build one. It should fit about everything I need to coat and more. Total cost 175 bucks. Took a double oven cut it and put it back together.

Side project

Back to the patrol... any advice on taking a 50 year old top off? All bolts are removed and I really don't want to create more work for myself. Old rubbers are stuck as it gets. Someone must have a trick Thanks in advance

A good shove will break the rubber loose. It is glued to one side, I don't recall which side though.

Passenger side is glued. unfortunately my driver side is melted. Shoving isn't going to work. Got a piano wire and slowly having to work it off. On a good note I took a sliding window off and the metal frame is looks new, to bad i can't find rubbers 8)
