What a strange, negatively written article. “Nissan have probably hit the nail on the head better than any others”. That’s enough for me, although my mind was made up before I started reading! 
The closing paragraph that refers to the motorbike is really strange. Any idiot knows that a trail bike is more capable than a 4wd but how the hell can you compare the two??
It’s funny to note the numerous references to how basic and primitive these vehicles were. Built in 1977 designed in 1939 I think they say. They also make mention of the “minority” market. Still a minority market today but it’s worth billions!!
