PATROL IN OH

Post by mad4hws »

did anyone else see this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262537903127

Notice one of the pics of a shed (or similar) and the parts therein. I found my heater! Now I just need to convince him (or her) to let me have one. There's a lot of stuff here. If anyone wants to do a joint venture of some sort to get this into patrolee's hands, I'd be interested. With my bum knee I kinda stuck though.

Had to go back to take a good look.

At the bottom of the shelves there are 4 valve covers! So he probably has lots of other items as well. Wish I would be closer.

The auction ended with no bidders. I left a note for the seller to contact me and she actually did. Whooohooo.

Here's the story. These are the remnants of at least 4 Patrols. her husband did some work for a guy who had accumulated all of them. In exchange for her husband fixing one up, the guy gave him the two patrols shown plus all of the parts. He got one of them running, but now they're trying to buy a house and just need this stuff to disappear. She wants 4400 for the whole lot. Not a bad price. I can finance this endeavor, but is there someone that might be able to warehouse this stuff that is close to Ohio? It's about 9 hours from Connecticut, but I don't have place at the casa for this stuff.... the Mrs. is gracious enough to deal with the Minion Missile. If there's interest, let me know. I told her i would call her back in a day or two.

That really does sound like member OhioPatrols. Other than him, not many members in or near Ohio. There is an off-road writer in Ohio that is interested in Patrols - PatrolEnvy. Maybe PM him and see if he has any suggestions.

I have the 65 parts truck that was in this sale. Jase sold them and all the parts to a a guy in Haskins OH who then sold everything to a patrol member recently. I purchased the parts truck from him for the engine.
