New Owner from Tennessee

Post by Redpatrol7760 »

Evening fellas,

Ever since seeing my first Patrol about 6 years ago I had to have one. I worked on the guy for years as I watched it sit and never moved with no luck. Anyways, I have been looking to get a project lately and found one for a good price in town and jumped on it. It's a 1967 and I'm loving it so far. It runs but needs some small things fixed so I haven't been driving it. Had a break issue when I picked it up but think I have that fixed now. There are some significant rust spots but not the worst I've ever seen. Not sure what to do with he body right now since I'm planning to use this as a hunting / dog transport truck. I'm super excited about learning the vehicle and taking it apart just to put it back together. I don't know too much about cars in general so I'm so glad I found this site, I've already learned a good bit!

Congratulations and welcome. If you ever get over to Western KY (Barkley Lake / Cadiz area), look me up. I'm only 1.5hrs from you. This is where I keep my 63 Patrol. We like driving through the lakes area with ours.
