GQ H260 lsd conversion was fairly straight forward. (in hindsight haha).
Had to use the crown gear and pinion off my old diff centre to keep ratio same as front Axel. Bolt holes will line up perfectly, however... The flange surrounding the diff is thicker on the GQ lsd AND it uses larger diameter bolts. I was lucky my local Bolt shop had high tensile in the length I needed. You provably should put a 1mm sleeve in the holes but I didn't worry about it. The biggest problem for me was the chamfer (spelling) is different size on the crown wheel on my g60 compared to GQ. Simple fix, put the diff centre in a lathe with a giant chuck and gouge just the chamfer out of the corner without touching either of the 2 mating surfaces for the crown wheel. Took longer to get the diff aligned in the Chuck true then the actual machine. Press ur new bearings on. Make sure the gear seats in properly before torquing the bolts up. Otherwise they can strip, they only go in by about 10mm. Don't ask how I know.
I did find the Axel bearings sit slightly closer to centre of the diff then they used to but it still pulled up to within spec of all the tolerances in my manual. But note that u didn't adjust the pinion or bearing so it wasn't adjusted at all, just a new seal.
I had to shorten my short Axel by 4mm off the spline end so I didn't have to add heaps of shims to one of the bearing cages on the end of Axel housing. Do note that u can't measure the end play of ur wheel bearing without both Axels inserted as they push against each other through the diff. When u push one hub in to other should move out.
I made an adaptor to fit my engine stand to hold the diff outer. Made life almost pleasant to work on.
