Many thanks to Mild Bill for driver's side door stop and chrome grill trim - really rounding out Oso nicely.

Oso update from Austin:

Spent some time in late June to remove the soft top frame and doors and open it up for summer trips around town. I was inspired by some Instagram pics making their way around of a LR Series II in about the same state - looks great to my eye. Hauled a sports team through our annual Fourth of July parade and got lots of appreciation.

Burger joint in last two pics is the same place used heavily in Richard Linklater's "Dazed and Confused", Top Notch.

Cheers, y'all!

It's always fun to cruise in a Patrol, especially stripped down.

This fall we must meet at our Hunting camp in Eden for a Patrol roll!

Greetings all!

Over the holidays, I got Oso back into the shop for a host of items I wanted to address but most importantly to install the new soft top and frame from user Raul. I had the frame painted to match and since my shop had the color blended up, we refinished the windshield, hood and both rear quarter panels. I also had the shop address several minor rust spots (both floorpans up front, behind tire in back) which led to shooting the inside with bedliner. Lastly, we installed LED reverse lights and a Lokar shifter for the TH350 transmission.

Other than repainting the the front quarters, bib and doors, Oso is done.

Be well all!

Kirk
