Oh and the Patrol did come with a parts vehicle with no title. So I am not totally sure what all is left on it but I will keep my eyes open for folks looking for stuff on here and will check to see if I have it. I'm not up on what certain Patrol parts are worth so I might ask you guys what a fair price would be if that's okay.

Welcome to this great site. I am having a hard time deciding if buying a fininshed Patrol is better than starting a project? Either way you will have fun with it.

It's often we all learn/discover something new about these ol girls. I think that's one of the best things about them.
The original filter was an oil bath . As the name suggests it used a bath of oil to filter any particles.
As for parts and prices, well I'm pretty sure we're all on the same team here and I would be totally surprised to hear that a member tried to undercut another or rip them off. In a lot of cases though a part is worth what someone is willing to pay. Eg how desperate are they to get it. Do they NEED it? Do they WANT it? Or would it be a nice addition but it's not urgent... You get me?

Makes total sense Miller, I would only assume that people would be completely fair and honest here for sure.
So, I just bought this Patrol….

I recently purchased the Mad Plaid machine.

It's great to come across some history of my 69 Patrol. Its in decent shape but will take some work.

I'm looking forward to posting updated pics in the near future.

Hello nielsch99,

I remember seeing this one for sale over in Saratoga Springs not too long ago. You will have a lot of fun with this. I am restoring a '67 soft top Patrol and have a '67 hardtop parts vehicle. I live in Bountiful but work in American Fork at Domo so I am close. If you would ever like to compare notes, happy to get together.
