looking for seals and gaskets for transfer case aneyone

Really old stuff that got saved. Here are the old Nissan Patrol Club America messages from the 'General' category. Warning, it's dusty in here!

looking for seals and gaskets for transfer case aneyone

Jerry, Just rebuilt my transfer case last spring.  I just took the seal to my local parts house and the used the numbers off of the seal to get the new ones. Gaskets are easier. Buy sheet gasket material the same thickness as the one you removed. Lay the sheet against the part and tap gently ,with a hammer, through through the gasket material, around all the inside and outside surfaces including the mounting holes.  This will mark and even cut the material well enough to make your own gasket.  Incidently, you can generally get your bearings from the numbers off of the old bearings.
