Patrol in FourWheeler Mag

Really old stuff that got saved. Here are the old Nissan Patrol Club America messages from the 'General' category. Warning, it's dusty in here!

Anyone see the picture of the highly modified Patrol in the latest issue of FourWheeler mag? It has some HUGE meats and a coil spring conversion. Definitely not stock.   David

Which issue?  What page?  I thumbed through the copy at the grocery store before rushing off.  Didn't notice a Patrol, but I could have easily missed it in the rush to get home and shower before heading off to job #2.

Dec 01 issue, page 44. It's a red '67 Patrol with a what looks like 44" tires on full-size axles and a coil spring front suspension. Nice paint job but the overly large tires that stick way too far out make it kinda look crappy IMHO. Nice thing is it's getting the Patrol a little more exposure.   David

It is definately HORRIBLY ugly and a disgrace to all Patrol's.  It is good to have Patrol coverage, but there have been other Patrol's in US four wheel mags that were much more representative of what they really are.  It probably never gets driven off-road and if so only in the mud.  It probably is not even a Patrol frame or anything...
