I need help - engine

Won't run? Engine, cooling system, fuel pump, carb, clutch, tranny, brakes, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Engine & Mechanical' category are here.

Greetings to all and to all a Merry Christmas.

I have just returned from a wonderful week of driving Santa's Sleigh while hunting. It runs so good, withi all your help, I can overlook the sticking needle valve.

I am confident we have a source for rebuilding axles, transmissions, fuel pumps, water pumps, wiper motors, starters and brake syteme to our Patrols. However, is there one place in the USA a Patrol motor can be rebuilt by mechanics who have rebuilt several before and know where to make or source parts? Like I've said it is much cheaper to ship cross country to an experienced mechanic than throw money at the learned curve of a well meaning local mechanic.

Patrolling when posible,

There is. A forklift shop in Oregon. I'll have to do some digging to remember who they are.
Beyond any hope for intervention

we have the Nissan HQ here in Nashville so I’ve called a few forklift shops asking for rebuild recommendations. No luck so far

Was going through box of parts from PO of my patrol and found 4 sets of these tucked away at bottom. Seems like a good omen ha!

This is very old information, you'll want to verify it first.

Thank you RiverPatrol. I respectfully request that an informed Patrol owner call this shop and ask all the right questions. I have sent parts out based on my poor understanding and been disappointed. Good questions will lead us in the right direction.
Thanks in advance,
